Content library access will differ based on each user whether they are a free or paid user. The following content library access overview will provide a synopsis of the main differences of access different users may experience when reviewing the content library area.

Content Library Access Restrictions

Content library access will appear differently if a user does not have access. A restricted message will appear if a user does not have access.
 

User Does Have Access

If a user has access to a content category, they will be able to view:
  • Content Category
  • Content Type (if applicable)
  • Content Tag (if applicable)
  • Content Description
  • Associated Content including applicable videos and resources
 
Note: Within the content library, content categories will appear as either a list view or grid view. List view often appears as icons whereas grid view often has an associated image such as a cover image.
 

User Does NOT Have Access

If a user does not have access, they will be able to view:
  • Content Category Name
  • Content Category within a list or grid view
  • (Optional) a link to the content library details redirecting to a salespage
  • (Optional) a direct link to upgrade based on product
  • (Optional) an embedded sales video
 
Note: If a customer does not have access to the content library content category, they will receive a restricted message. The message can be customized by associated a salespage url and video.
 

Editing Content Access

 
 
Content access is configured in the content category area. Individual content associated with the content category, must be associated with the content category.
 
 

Membership Access

"Membership access" grants anyone with a specific membership level with access to the content. You can add or remove membership level access at any time.
 
Example: A free membership access may have access to a free section within the content library, but not a premium content associated with a paid product. A monthly membership member may have access to all content within the content library or have restrictions if there are additional membership levels.
 
To add a membership level, click "add membership level" button. Add additional rows of membership level(s) by clicking the (+) icon and (-) to remove membership levels.

Bundle Access

"Bundle access" grants anyone with a specific bundle access to the course.
You can add or remove bundle access at any time.
 
To add a bundle access, click "bundle access" button. Add additional rows of bundle access by clicking the (+) icon and (-) to remove bundle(s).

Product Access

"Product access" grants anyone with a specific product access to the content category.
You can add or remove bundle access at any time.

Content Access (Editing the Restricted Message)

 
To edit the restricted message, select "product access" under the content category associated with your individual content. This allows you to optionally add a salespage url which will redirect the users when the user selects "details". You can also add a sales video url code.
 
To edit the restricted message, select "product access". This allows you to optionally add a salespage url, sales video, and connect the restricted message to direct users to purchase a specific product available in the dropdown menu.
 
First navigate to :
  • Content Categories> select content category you'd like to edit> then "product access"
  • Click "Add Product"
  • (Optional) Add salespage url and sales video url
  • From the drop-down menu, select the product associated with this content category.
 

Previewing Content Access

 
To preview content access, it is best practice to create a test account with different access levels based on different products to simulate what a user experiences.
 
To add a new test account:
 
  • Membermouse> Manage Member> Add member
  • Enter in the name, email address, and password
  • Enter the subscription level (i.e. free membership, paid monthly, etc.)
